Őszi pamut pulcsi / Autumn Cotton Jumer

Már csak kis híja van. Nem mintha az időjárás sürgetne, hiszen az ősz kezdetéig nem lesz rá szükség. De jó kis kihívás volt, pamutól is szeretek norvég mintást kötni.

It's almost ready. Not that the weather would afford to wear it till autumn. It was a superb challenge, I love making stranded knitting from cotton yarns too.

 

Garbó nyakú, csavart és csipke pulcsik / Turtleneck, Cables and Lace Jumpers

Two of a kind.

És egy újabb Himalaya Rozetti Puzzle Comfort fonalból készült pulcsi ugyanolyan mintával mint a korábbi rózsaszín, a másik lányomnak.

And another jumper was knitted from Himalaya Rozetti Puzzle Comfort for my other daughter made with the same pattern. Both my design.

Mindössze 2 motring Himalaya Rozetti Puzzle Comfort fonalból egy kellemesen puha, meleg, igazi kényelmes pulcsi készült a rózsaszínimádó lánykámnak.

A nice soft, warm, really comfortable jumper was knitted from only 2 skeins of Himalaya Rozetti Puzzle Comfort yarn for my pink-lover daughter.

 

Téglalapok pulóver /Rectangles Jumper

My new sweater from 36 colors of Scheepjes River Washed and Stone Washed is ready. My own pattern, inspired by Kaffee Fassett's colorwork. It was made in two weeks, besides working full time. There were a few ends to sew in at the end. 

 

Fair Flowers Jumper & Mosaic Crochet Cardigan

Négy évvel ezelőtt horgoltam meg a nagy részét (alulról, a hónaljig), még a pandémia alatt. Azután félretettem, mert nem igazán volt ötletem, hogy a mozaik horgolásos mintákat hogyan is kellene összehozni, a karöltő kivágással. Most előkerült és a már két kötött pulcsinál jól bevált egyenletesen elosztott vállrész fogyasztást alkalmaztam itt is. Szerintem megérte várni a tökéletes megoldásra.

I started it four years ago during the Pandemic. Crocheted from bottom up it was made up to the yoke. Then it was laid aside 'cause I didn't know, how to join the arms and the body part without disturbing the mosaic crochet patterns. Now I found it and the technique used at my two latest knitted sweaters seemed to be a good solution for this cardi too. So the yoke was made with evenly distributed decreased number of stitches in the round. I'm quite satisfied with the result.

Ezt a pulcsit a cifra minta miatt eltartott egy ideig mire megkötöttem, de minden percet megért. A fonal pamut-akril keverék és puha kellemes viselet. 4,5-es kötötűvel alulról felfelé körben kötöttem, csak az ujja van oda-vissza kötve hónaljig. Saját tervezés.

This jumper took me awhile to knit due to the intricate pattern, but it was worth every minute of it. The yarn is a mixture of cotton and acrilic and it is a soft and pleasant garment. I knitted it in the round bottom up with 4.5mm needles, only the arms are knitted back and forth up to the yoke. My own design.

 

Az Újév küszöbén / On the verge of the New Year

Still brown. Or brown again? It doesn't matter, it is still my fav colour and this yarn -Rosarios4 Invicta- together with this gorgeous cable-lace pattern makes a really beautiful winter jumper.

Was made back in September, just forgot to post it.

Christmas sweater with sparkling flitters in beautiful red. The yarn is a thin wool, the knitting is simple to let the material shine in itself. I tried a new type of yoke, knitted in the round bottom up and it turned out as an excellent soution. Edged with I-cord.

Another Christmas jumper. I combined two techniques: a lace & cable and a homeycomb motif. Bought the two yarns at the same time and they comlement each other really well, I think.

This sweater has been a UFO for more than 2 years. I was affraid that the beige yarn would not be enough for my original concept, a round knitted yoke. Now I changed it's pattern and finished it differenty. I like it this way too. It is as warm as a furnice. Yarn is Genio by Borgo di Pazzzi.

The above three were made in the last month os 2024.

The very first project of 2025.

The sweater inspired by Kaffee Fassett is finally ready. The round yoke I created in the red flitter jumper worked so well, that I adapted it to this creation too. This way the colour rows run undisturbed and make the pattern even more delightful. I used at least 5 different types of yarn, all of them wool- acrilic mix. The most colourful are Scheepjes Our Tribe.

 

Khaki csipke pulcsi/ Khaki Lace Jumper

 Elkészült egy kora tavasszal elkezdett pulcsi, amit hónapokra félretettem, pedig alig néhány sor hiányzott belőle. Gyakran csinálok ilyet, fogalmam sincs miért. A lányomnak meglepetés volt, jöhet az ősz! 100% pamut.

A UFO started in early spring, several months ago is finally finished, though only a few lines were missing. I do it often, have no idea why. It was a surprise for my daughter, so autumn may come. 100% cotton.

Spot pulci /Spot Sweater

Spots pulcsi módosulat.Mint tudjátok, én mindig a magam módján valósítom meg a dolgokat. Durable Mohair fonalból készült. Fantasztikus színei vannak. A minta egyszerű, így ez gyorsan kész lett. Olyan puha és meleg! A nyakát először duplán hajtott patent kötéssel készítettem, de átkötttem. Így sokkal jobban rásimul a nyakra.

Spots sweater variation. I do it my way, as you already know. The yarn is Durable Mohair. The colours of this yarn are exeptional. The pattern is simple, so it was a quick knit. So soft and warm. First I knitted the neckline with double layered patent but then frogged and redid it with single layer patent and finished it with I-cord. I fits now perfectly. Pattern can be found here.

 

"Háromszögek" pulcsi / "Triangles" Jumper

My "Triangles" jumper from 100% cotton yarns (mostly the beautiful colours of Scheepjes Catona and there are some other leftover yarns in it as well) for the summer evenings. Knitted bottom up in the round. The colours are randomly chosen in pairs of one darker and a brighther in the 4-row pattern. Simple raglan yoke and with my favourite I-cord edges.

 

Hideg virágok / Cold Flowers

 My Fair Isle sweater  with flowers is finally ready. I started it at the beginning of October last year. In between I made some other projects and then took this jumper and decided to finish it. Proceeded and then frogged some parts, knitted the sleeves and then frogged the upper part, and also the beginning, to add the zig-zag pattern. I bought the yarn, Etrofil Rustik but when it arrived I was diappointed because all of the colours were very pale, not like in the pics in the webshop. Nevertheless I decided that I liked them still but had to purchase another brand of grey yarn in order to make it contrasting enough with the other colours. You can see the final result with wich I'm quite saisfied with. 

"Hulló falevelek" pulcsi / "Falling Leaves" Sweater

Végre befejeztem ezt az UFO-t. Jól át kellett gondolnom, hogy hogyan kötöm hozzá az ujját és a nyakát az entrelac kockákhoz. Jó néhány verziót le is bontottam , de végül tökéletes lett. A lányom elcapcizta tőlem, de valljuk be, neki sokkal jobban áll.

I finished this UFO finally. Had to think about the way of attaching the arms and the neckline to the entrelac squares (and froged it several times ) but at the end I managed it to perfection. My daughter fetched it from me and I must admit that it suits her much better.

 

Colorblock Cardigan

 Tavaszi kardigán színes blokkokból, Borgo di Pazzi Bibi fonalból. A csatok, ha lehet, még egy kicsit feldobják. Intarzia kötéssel készült.

Colorblock cardigan for spring from Borgo di Pazzi Bibi yarn. The clasps jazz it up even a bit more. First time I used intarzia knitting.

"Harlequin" pulóver / "Harlequin" Jumper

Az új Harhlequin pulcsim. A csodás színek és fonalszerkezet a Scheepjes Secret Garden fonalnak köszönhető. Imádom, ahogyan a színek hangsúlyt adnak a moduláris kötés adta formának. Saját minta, leírást nem készítettem.

My new Harlequin sweater. Thanks for the Scheepjes Secret garden yarn for the beautiful colours and structure. I love how the colours emphasise the form produced by the modular knitting. My own pattern, haven't put it in written form.

 

Csavart rombusz mintákkal / Aran Jumper

Lehet, hogy nem a legelőnyösebb minta, de annyira megtetszett, hogy meg kellett kötnöm. És olyan finom puha, meleg! Alulról felfelé körben, egyben kötöttem, az első nyereg vállas pulóverem.

It may not be the most becoming pattern for me, but fell in love so I had to knit a jumper with it. And it is so soft and warm! It was knitted bottom up in one piece in the round. And it is my first jumper with saddle shoulders. I knitted it as I went, but the chart can be found here.

 

Norvég mintás hardigán / Fair Isle Cardigan

I've started this cardigan at the beginning of November, and laid it aside for some reason I do not even remeber. Maybe I've just started something new from a new purshase of yarns, I usually do that. IT's not a New Year's resolutions, I never promise things that I can't keep, but decided to have a look at some of the "resting" projects. I can tick this one, and still have a week holiday to go. Yarn: Scheepjes Our Tribe: The Curio Crafts Room and Happy in Red, 350g. My daughter is modelling it, a bit loose on her, but it will be a present to a friend. When she gets it I'll make some pics her wearing it too. No pattern, the graphs were free on the Net, otherwise I followed my own imagination.
