I had the centre beads of this set in my stash from my very first purchase of beads more than four years ago. It was high time to do something with them. I wanted to use my square beads too. You can see the result.

As the large beads were part of a mixture of all types and colours of rather large Czech glass beads, and there were just a few of each type, not enough cube shaped ones for the whole set, so in the bracelet I used some round beads too. The square shape of the elements could have been maintained so I'm really happy with it.

The pattern calls for superduos, but I felt like trying my two-hole triangle beads instead. They are more flowery.

 With chrysanthemum jasper semiprecious gemstones. 

The earrings look really great with the bronze spiral necklace too.

The bracelet with strong magnet clasp.

 The neckpiece has graduated size of elements, will have leather cord "chain".

Puca féle "Aya" karkötő és tsa / "Aya" Bracelet by Puca and co.

Olasz ónix és tigris jáspis ásványgyöngyökkel készítettem ezt a szettet. A karkötő és a fülbevaló Puca mintája alapján készült.

I made this set using Italian onyx and tigerskin jasper semiprecious stone beads. The bracelet and earrings were beaded after Puca's pattern.

 A medál viszont már saját elgondolás szerinti, és egyben a legelső ékszerem, amiben Swarovsky rivolit használtam. Hát, fényképezni még nem sikerül a csillogást.

On the other hand the pendant was made following my own concept. At the same time it is my very first piece of jewelry I used Swarovsky rivoli in.  Well, I can't yet manage to take a good photo of the sparkle.

Ha lúd, legyen kövér. Az első nekibuzdulás sikerén bátorodva készült egy második szett is. Nem volt elég azonos színű Kheops gyöngyöm, így kétféle lilás színt vegyítettem. Medálra, vagy más nyakláncra már gyakorlatilag egy sem maradt, így csak egy fülbevaló és egy karkötő készült. Szivárvány fluorit ásványok teszik hihetetlenül légiessé.

One may as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb. Taking the courage and succeeding with my first trial I completed a second set too. I didn't have enough Kheops beads in the same colour so I mixed two purplish shades. There were practically non of them left for making a pendant or any kind of necklace, therefore only a pair of earrings and a bracelet was made. They are unbelievably ethereal due to rainbow fuorite gemstones.

Háromszög gyöngyök, herringbone és peyote / Triangle Beads, Heringbone and Peyote

Heringhurka nyaklánc Toho háromszög gyöngyökből. Imádom a különleges felületet, amit képeznek.

Necklace made with herringbone spiral stitch from Toho triangle beads. These beads give a unique texture to beadwork.

A fülbevalók  duplák, és a szélükön "összecipzároztam" a peyote széleket. Kifejezetten jó tartásuk van.

The earrings are double sided, the peyote is zipped at the edges. They are really nice and sturdy.

Christmas exchange game

This is the set I got for Christmas in the game. I'm absolutely happy with it. I love the contrast of the sparkling crystals and the mute opal beads.

And this was my present. I used white and silver colours.

Szűz Mária medál / The Blessed Virgin Mary Pendant

An elderly woman living in our neighborhood brought this pendant to me. It  has a gold bezel and hook, but the the later was so worn -out and thin that she was afraid to loose it if worn. She asked me to give it a new bezel and hook. You can see what I managed using beads. The pendant does not have a regular circular shape and in addition of course the original gold bezel remained on it. That was the most I could make out of it but she seemed to be satisfied with the final result.

 

Finally the necklace , the bracelet and the earrings are ready too.

"Hepehupás út" karkötő, gyűrű és nyakék / "Bumpy Road" Bracelet, Ring and Necklace

It's a simple peyote bracelet. It is only the beads that give it this special form, their size and shape mould it into a "Bumpy Road". I used seed beads, triangle beads of two sizes and large cube beads. Don't they look really awesome in these colours?

the ring was made the same way as the bracelet. As for the necklace I had to make it lopsided to make the curve. It will be attached to a relatively short leather cord.
