Csipke sál / Lace Shawl

Another shawl for my other daughter. This time knitted with a simple lace pattern, edged with reverse single crochet. Yarn: Whirl 789, needle 3mm. I found the lace scheme on Pinterest, otherwise just a simple rectangular form. I knitted it 1.5 times, the half of it was ready, when I decided that it would be too long, so started it from the other end of the yarn again, just 9cm wider and now I think it is the perfect length.

SisLove horgolt sálkendő / SisLove Shawl

 A hétvégén elkészült a "SisLove" kendő az egyik lánykámnak. A 3 részből nem egészen kettőt horgoltam meg, hogy elég legyen egy 1000m-es gombolyag. Az utolsó 5 sort saját agymnés alapján horgoltam mert fodrosabb szélt szerettem volna, mint a minta adja.

I was busy during the weekend, crocheted this SisLove shawl from Whirl 774 Salted Caramel Matcha. Pattern from SisHomemade. The original shawl is bigger but I crocheted not quite 2 parts instead of three and finished off with the last 5 rows not following the pattern but only my hands to make it a bit ruffled.

Sárga sálkendő / Yellow shawl

It's been a while since I've made anything creative. I've been searching for inspiration on all kinds of forums, but then I only had to look over my huge stash of yarns to get the kick. Maybe it's the unusually cold spring that made me think of a shawl once more, but I also wanted to try this special form. I was browsing through ponchos and shawl at DROPS design, when I met this, then this and this. So it was decided that I will make somethig similar, but I wanted my shawl to have a bigger curve., therefore made more increases at every hole row. And after changing the color for grey I wanted my shawl to be a bit more feminin, thus the frill. The last rows took more than an hour to knit eventhough belive me I'm not a slow knitter. One of my daughters confiscated it the minute it was ready and also wants to have a hat. Now I have to figure out one that will match it. Our tiles on the terrace are 30cm x30cm, so you can see the size.

"Summit" stóla / "Summit" Shawl

Még a tél végén lett kész ez a  Mandie Harrington mintája alapján készített sál. Rövid soros technikával kötöttem, jó móka volt. Biztos lesz folytatás.

I knitted this shawl at the end of winter following the pattern of Mandie Harrington. It was made with short rows, and I had fun making it. There are others to follow.

"Korallzátony" kesztyű / 'Coral Reef" Mittens

Végre sikerült fényképet is készíteni a korallzátony színű kendőhöz készült kesztyűről. Puha pamutbélést kapott, így nem túl hideg téli napokra tökéletes. Kézzel készített termék. A mintát a "Virus" kendő mintája ihlette, de módosítottam, hogy kevésbé lyukacsos legyen.

Finally had time to make pics of the mittens made to the "Coral Reef" shawl. They are lined with soft cotton and are just fine for moderately cold winter days. All hand made. Pattern inspiration from that of the "Virus" scarf but modified to make it less lacy.

"Ír rózsák" sál / "Irish Roses" Scarf

Still obsessed by the thin 100% cotton lace yarn. My last crochet scarf/wrap is ready, made with 3D irish lace type of roses in the middle of the motifs and finished with a border around. My own pattern.

"Margaréta" sál / "Margareta" Scarf

Inspired by Sophie Digard I created this new crocheted scarf. It's quite large, made from 100% cotton. I used grays, greens and blues and a touch of pink. I love the result.

Szuperkönnyű sál / Super lightweight Scarf

Szuperkönnyű, 100%  pamut csipkefonalból készült sál. Kilencféle rózsaszín és lila árnyalattal, és sötétbarna virágközepekkel horgoltam.

Super lightweight scarf made from 100% cotton lace thread. I used nine shades of pink and purple with dark brown in the centre of the flowers.
